Direito autoral e a cultura da leitura e dos livros

Em dezembro de 2010 a IFLA co-organizou um simpósio internacional sobre “Enhancing the Culture of Reading and Books in the Digital Age: Copyright as a Means to Foster Creativity and Access”, na Biblioteca Nacional da Dieta, em Toquio (Japão). O simpósio foi realizado durante dois dias e teve debates entre os participantes de várias instituições (International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO), the International Publishers Association (IPA) e a World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) e a National Diet Library).
